What is Newsome Out to Play?
We are a community group dedicated to supporting children and families to play out responsibly and play together in the Newsome area*. Our main work consists of organising outdoor play events and activities, raising awareness of why play matters and encouraging others to have a go too.

Newsome Out to Play is a sub-group of Newsome Ward Community Forum.
If you would like to get something going for the kids in your area, why not get in touch? Lots of people are having a go at improving their neighbourhoods for the kids in the Newsome area at the moment and so there is plenty of know how out there to make it feel less daunting. *meaning the whole Newsome Ward, i.e. Lowerhouses, Berry Brow, Armitage Bridge, Springbank, Primrose Hill, Aspley, Hall Bower etc.
